boy Pete

A South Floridian since 2007, I am honored and excited to be a part of SFLbOL as it can fill a great need in the local leather community. In my experience boys need camraderie and a support system.
In the absence of a SIR/Dom, boys should be there for each other. Even when a SIR/Dom is in the picture, there are times when a boy just needs to let off some steam or needs a shoulder to lean on. For myself, that is what this is about.  We are all brothers, in a sense. If we're not there for each other who will be?

So who is boy Pete?

boy Pete is a
n Iowa native, lifelong performer and instructor, having worked with a diverse collection of groups as a performer, volunteer, event organizer or board member. For the past year I have served as Secretary for Bound South, Inc., producers of The Leather Masked Ball ®, a local Fort Lauderdale 501(c)3 non-profit organization.   I have a degree in Fasion Design and work as a Designer for an international costume manufacturer in South Florida.  I also continue to work with scholastic performance groups nationwide.

My entrance into the leather community came about in Southern California in 2001 through my roommate Scott Huske, seeing the connection and bond that could be forged between a Dom and boy.  In 2004 I was collared by SIR Robert Matt in West Hollywood, serving Him and assisting with the creation of Bound2Trust, a discussion group for Dominants and submissives to further understanding of the BDSM lifestyle.  During this time SIR  and I were fortunate to have 2 boys added to O/our family, and I befriended some outstanding men in Southern California.  The dissolution of this family and being released from service, while absolutely with no doubt the most painful, core shattering experience of my life, has been another lesson for me.  My SIR & I were both doing the best W/we could at that time.

Since relocating to South Florida, I have been working to get my feet back under me.  I've had the honor to
meet and befriend some amazing men.  I've also made my own family of sorts, men who have stood by me through good and bad and have reminded me of the meaning of friendship and brotherhood. SFLbOL is another way for me to serve my community and my brothers.  I've found the leather lifestyle and scene to be an amazing journey of self discovery, improvement and growth.  I cherish the lifelong friends and family I've made through my involvement, and look forward to more.
